Bernina Presser Feet
Bernina presser feet come in a wide range of shapes and sizes to cover all sewing techniques.

To help you select the right foot for your machine we have broken them down into model types.
Type A
Type A Bernina Presser Feet. The most common type which fits the biggest number of machines.
Easy to recognise with its two prongs at the top of the shank.
Generally fits the older Bernina Models.
Type B
Type B Bernina Presser Feet. The Type B fits the largest number of machines, they will fit any machine that takes the closed shank fitting.
Type B fit a wide range of models. If you are unsure, check the full model list at the bottom of this page.
Type C
The C in Type C stands for coded presser foot. It refers to the sensor that specifies the stitch width to the sewing machine.
Type C are designed for Bernina sewing and embroidery machines with a maximum stitch width of 9mm. The soles are longer and wider than on the 5.5 mm presser foot.
Type D
The letter D in Type D feet stands for Dual Feed. D presser feet are used with the Bernina Dual Feed system.
The sole has a recess at the back. For Bernina machines with a maximum stitch width of 9mm.
Machine Types
Bernina Presser Feet come in all sorts of shapes and sizes to fit a host of different machines. As new machines get introduced so do new feet but it’s not a one size fits all.
