The Bernina Overlocker Lower Looper 50197503 will sometimes break. Especially if it strikes the upper looper. Care must be taken with the fitting. The timing and position must be checked, reset if necessary, and tested. After fitting please DO NOT start your machine running at top speed. Leave it unplugged and turn the machine over by hand, slowly. This way, if the two loopers do strike each other, you won’t risk breaking them again.
