This BX1E is a replacement for the Brother V3 a machine that I always liked. I run my eye over the BX1E and must report that I like to cut of its jib. This is an embroidery machine that will stand up to hard use and difficult fabrics, with just a few provisos.

You take care of the machine – choose good quality embroidery threads and needles. Change your needles more often than you might like. And as always, my dear, choose the correct stabilisers for the fabrics you sew.  Also be aware of the marriage between the size of an embroidery design and the weave of the fabric upon which you plan to embroider.
