The Brother Needle Threader XG7515001 will fit the range of basic models. They are the machines with an LX or XR prefix. As ever the use of any needle threader requires some care. They don’t suddenly break on their own, the fault almost always lies with the heavy hand. So take care. Don’t grip the thread too tightly. Nor should you attempt to use the threader on a bent or damaged needle.

This type of needle threader is held in place by a small screw. There is a 7mm (approx) slot in the needle threader to allow for adjustment when fitting.
