The Janome 5270QDC Sewing Machine

The Janome 5270QDC is a little belter of a sewing machine. With the features of a bigger machine in a compact body it really will be your go-to whether you’re dressmaking, quilting or crafting.

What features does the 5270QDC boast?

It may be easier to list the features this machine doesn’t have.  To start, the 5270QDC comes with 270 built in stitches, including a selection of 1 step buttonholes and alphabets.  So, whether you’re using your basic utility stitches for dressmaking or getting creative with more decorative stitches you really will find it all on this model.

Threading the Janome 5270QDC couldn’t be easier with an advance auto needle threader and drop in bobbin.  There’s also a set of magnifying lenses included to attach to this machine.  Perfect for tired eyes.

The auto thread cutter will come in so handy – you’ll wonder how you ever managed without it.

Working on bigger projects? Thats’s no problem with the 5270QDC.  This machine includes an extension table for when you need a little extra space.  There’s also a knee lift to raise the presser foot – useful when you need to keep both hands on your project.

As with most modern sewing machines the Janome 5270QDC has a speed control.  This enables you to slow the speed right down for more intricate work whilst still retaining the sewing power.  And talking of power, this machine will have no problems sewing denim or other heavier weight fabrics.

What accessories does the Janome 5270QDC include?

The Janome 5270QDC includes an extension table, a selection of presser feet, 3 sets of optical magnifiers and a hard carry-case. There are also spare bobbins, needles and full instructions.

This machine takes Category B feet.  There are a wide selection of presser feet to fit this machine here.

Alan and Steve’s Guarantee to you

We are Janome Main Agents.
Our guarantee covers your Janome for two years and includes parts and labour, but not transport. It may be an idea to retain the box and internal packaging – if you have space. In the unlikely event that you experience any problems with your machine, please phone us as ‘faults’ can often be rectified over the phone.
Dad always used to say the workshop is the backbone of our business. From the 1970’s both Alan and Steve learned the trade by starting in the workshop. Since those early days, we have both attended many technical training courses across the UK, Germany and Switzerland.
