Janome Atelier 3 Sewing Machine

The Janome Atelier 3 sewing machine is the baby of the Atelier range of sewing machines. But don’t let that fool you into thinking it’s lacking.  When we tested this machine we found it to be very smooth running and easy to use and it quickly became a favourite. This mid-sized sewing machine offers both the sewing enthusiast and the quilter alike much to be pleased about. The space between the needle and the neck is just over 8 inches, which is handy for large projects and quilts etc.

What features make the Atelier 3 sewing machine special?

The 8.3″ of throat space on this machine means there’s plenty of room for larger projects.  But it’s not just the throat space that’s important.  This machine has a deep workspace which makes it feel incredibly stable and spacious.

There are numerous features to make your sewing a pleasure – an automatic thread cutter saves thread and time.  A locking stitch makes tying off threads neat and tidy.  The speed control means the machine will work with you whether you’re at top speed on the straight runs, or step by step on your most intricate sewing. And let’s not forget the drop-in bobbin and needle threader which will make threading your machine a pleasure rather than a chore.

The Atelier 3 has 120 built in stitches, 7 types of one-step buttonholes, as well as an alphabet. You’ll never be short whether you’re using the utility stitches for dressmaking.  The decorative stitches for quilting.  Or the alphabets for labelling your makes.

What accessories are included with the Janome Atelier 3 sewing machine?

This model includes; standard foot, zipper foot, satin stitch foot, blind hem foot, overedge foot, buttonhole foot and 1/4″ seam foot. Plus there’s a handy case to protect your machine when it’s not in use.

The Atelier 3 takes Category C presser feet and there are a wide range of additional accessories available here.

Alan and Steve’s Guarantee to you

We are Janome Main Agents.
Our guarantee covers your Janome for two years and includes parts and labour, but not transport. It may be an idea to retain the box and internal packaging – if you have space. In the unlikely event that you experience any problems with your machine, please phone us as ‘faults’ can often be rectified over the phone.
Dad always used to say the workshop is the backbone of our business. From the 1970’s both Alan and Steve learned the trade by starting in the workshop. Since those early days, we have both attended many technical training courses across the UK, Germany and Switzerland.
