GTIN: Atelier 6 SKU: Atelier 6 Category:

The Janome Atelier 6 sewing machine is one we recommend to quilters and crafters. You may not wish to buy one of the top long-arm models. On the other hand, the standard sized machines are too small. So the 8 inches, from needle to neck, gives you that little bit more room to play with.

Sewing Machine Comparisons

What is important when you buy a new sewing machine is the ‘feel’. You can spend hours comparing ‘Bullet Points’ on web sites. One machine does this and the other does something else. And some come with a free box of kit-kats…

What matters most is will you enjoy using a machine. Do you like the way it feels when you use it. In general, the Atelier range are all well received, but it’s always best to try before you part with your brass.

One option would be to make a packed lunch, and fill a flask with coffee. Then set forth to Bambers for a demonstration on the Janome Atelier 6 sewing machine. You can also try it yourself and see what you think.

Who is the Janome Atelier 6 aimed at???

If you have a growing interest in quilting, the Atelier 6 may well be the one for you. Especially if you’ve already decided the next level up is not an option.
So, you may already own a standard sized sewing machine. But you’ve reached the end of it’s capabilities. And, because the problems begin when you work on larger quilts. You need more space…

A Word About the Plastic Body Sewing Machine

All sewing machines used to have a metal body. Wrap a rope about one, chuck it overboard, and it would hold the Queen Mary steady in a size 10 storm. That’s why so many of our older customers want to pick up the new machines we sell. They tap them with their fingers. Knock them with a knuckle. Then let out a blow and say – its plastic!
The body is plastic, but there’s a rigid die-cast aluminium frame inside. Technology moves on. Improvements are made. And the Janome Atelier 6 sewing machine is as solid as a rock.

Alan and Steve’s Guarantee to you

We are Janome Main Agents.
Our guarantee covers your Janome for two years and includes parts and labour, but not transport. It may be an idea to retain the box and internal packaging – if you have space. In the unlikely event that you experience any problems with your machine, please phone us as ‘faults’ can often be rectified over the phone.
Dad always used to say the workshop is the backbone of our business. From the 1970’s both Alan and Steve learned the trade by starting in the workshop. Since those early days, we have both attended many technical training courses across the UK, Germany and Switzerland.
